Somei Yoshino

Hitori Somei Yoshino Shinku Issen “真紅一線”

The Shirakaba dial beautifully evokes a nature-inspired wood texture, reminiscent of the fine-grained trunk of a tree, its satin-like sheen catching light as delicately as blossoms in bloom. High-gloss metal trims highlight the markers, hands, and date display at 3 o’clock.

What sets this edition apart from the earlier Somei Yoshino Shirakaba is the introduction of a single crimson seconds hand sweeping across the serene canvas. This vivid touch brings measured vitality to the monochrome palette, embodying Japanese symbolism where red represents life, love, and protection.

meguro

Meguro GMT Pale Planet DLC version

The Meguro Pale Planet GMT in full black was not made to be seen by everyone. Only fifteen exist, each sealed in a quiet layer of DLC, kept close for friends and collectors who walk alongside us.

With its blackout outlook, the watch carries a sense of stealth and quiet cool. Yet the use of black reaches far beyond fashion. In Japanese aesthetics, black is not emptiness but depth, a memory of ink wash paintings where shades of shadow reveal infinite nuance.
