About
A quieter way to keep time.
A quiet sense of solitude and freedom — an independence that carries its own weight.
Hitori
Hitori means one person, alone. Not lonely — self-possessed. Every piece we make is built for the hours nobody else sees: the early walk, the long train, the evening that belongs to no one but you.
We work in small runs. Each watch carries a serial from a numbered edition, and once that edition closes it is not made again.
Where the work happens
Our dials take their cues from the calm water of Yanagawa’s canals in Fukuoka, the same prefecture that informed the Nexus case profile. Finished with a soft satin sheen, they respond gently to light rather than flashing under it.
Movements are Miyota automatics, regulated and fitted with a custom open-worked winding rotor.
